GLORY RIDE

I am a humble foot soldier in the army of my King,
Not well known, not famous; no medals do I bring,
I wear the scars of battle, my pride's been stripped away,
I stand and fight right where I am, HIS Word shows me the Way.
All this in preparation, with JESUS as my guide
grooming me for victory in the coming Glory Ride!

"Be vigilant, stay ready!", I hear the Master say ,
"you know not when I'm coming, it could even be today;
but when I come in Glory, I want you at my side.
I am lifting up my foot soldiers for my promised Glory Ride!
There are many so-called generals who will be left behind;
they have focused their attentions on their gain and not on Mine."

"Their glory they have tasted, My Glory set aside,
Be not surprised who is left behind on my coming Glory Ride!
My call is to the faithful, the humble, not the proud,
the broken heart that's turned to Me will join me in the clouds.
Go now and tell the world ~ all people far and wide. . .
JESUS the KING is coming for His promised Glory Ride!"
