A SIMPLE PRAYER

Has the Lord been speaking to your heart? Is He calling you to Him? Have you had enough of the torment of this world? Would you make a decision now to let the Lord Jesus make you whole? Would you let Him take the burden from your heart and replace it with joy so full, so overwhelming that you'll wonder how you ever lived a moment without it?
He's here. Waiting for you. His arms are wide open for you. He's just waiting to share your life. Take a moment to say this simple prayer with me. Jesus is the greatest gift you will ever receive. His is the greatest love you will ever know.
Lord, you know who I am. You know what my life has been like until now. You know that I'm so empty. I've sinned Lord. Yet you tell me that I can be forgiven. You tell me that there's love and joy and peace just waiting for me. Well, I'm tired of hurting. I'm tired of the torment. I'm tired of living with no hope, no joy and no peace. I want Jesus to come into my heart and make me whole! I want to know Him as my savior; my redeemer. And I want Him to be my FRIEND. Come into my heart now Jesus. Fill me with your love; your presence. Take my life and make something new and joyous. Replace the loneliness with your friendship. Replace the pain with your blessed healing. Replace the sin with your everlasting life. I believe that you died in my place, Jesus. I believe that you were the promise fulfilled. You, God's only Son, bought me with your blood. You arose on the third day and sit by the right hand of your Father. Teach me and guide me. In Jesus precious name I pray.
You've now accepted the "Helmet of Salvation". Wear it proudly! Your "Breastplate of Righteousness" is all polished and glistening! Now, pick up your "Sword of the Spirit" which is the Word of God. Ask the Lord to teach, lead and guide you through His Word.
