God's Wisdom

Our dear By His Side friend and prayer partner, Peter, has a beautiful gift of listening to and sharing the Lord's wisdom and admonishment with us. These are some of the most powerful Word's of Wisdom from the Lord that I have had ministered to me in many years. Be blessed as you read what the Lord has laid on Peter's heart to share with His family.

    HE'S AN "ON-TIME" GOD

It takes my breath away when I think of the grace, goodness and mercy of God. To know that God has absolute and total control, in these days is such a blessed assurance. This world has not been entrusted into the hands of politicians, of monarchies, it's not in the hand of the economist, or the military..."the earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof" When sudden or unforeseen disaster strikes the earth, those in power call an "emergency meeting" but let me assure that there is no emergency meeting in heaven, for God knows the beginning and the end of it all, and he is present with us through it all. If all you had was the news media, you could be tempted to begin to worry and despair...but the bible tells us the good news, the good news is Jesus overcame it all...he said in this world you will have trouble, but be of good cheer because he has overcome, and not only did he overcome; he made us overcomers. We serve an on time God, he is never early and he is never late, he is always right on time. Sometimes we get impatient, we would like God to move according to our timetable or agenda, his ways are higher and God will not be rushed, neither can we "blackmail" him, our fits and tantrums don't impress him, in fact if anything it just goes to show that we are still immature and not ready for what we are praying for. I have stood on the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 for the longest time, and i know with all of my heart that God has a plan for my life, and for many others and as i was out walking God just laid this on my heart...

He has planned for us to have a good, prosperous abundant life, it does not depend on our circumstances, on where we are right now, that has nothing to do with it. God has ordained this plan, his production, he is the script writer, director, set designer, make-up artist; the complete production is the work of his hand and we are the star of that production. Think of it...the opening night of some big broadway production...and the star does not show; they have to get the understudy to step in, so many times we quit before it is time for us to step into Gods spotlight...God has not forgotten us, we are not being overlooked, the bigger the production, the more there is to do! So if you look around and see everyone else being blessed, thats your cue to get really excited, if he has blessed them; just imagine whats hes planned for you. Don't quit and don't get weary and please don't be decieved into thinking that God has forgotton you....he also takes pleasure in seeing his children prosper....all of his children.

Lord I love you so much, you take my breath away and I am just in awe of you. You surprise me...you delight me...you "show up" with gifts that I hadn't expected, you open doors that I didn't see, you defeat enemies before they have the oppurtunity to do damage to me. You have blessed me in so many ways that I could not tell it all; with all of my heart I give you grateful thanks, with a sincere and humble heart, i bless you and adore. I pray....ask that in these days more and more would see and testify to the goodness of God, pour out abundant blessings onto your children, drench them with your favour. Lord I lift up all those who feel forgotten or overlooked, praying that they would know the tangible and manifest presence of Jesus, as the song writer said, "his eye is on the sparrow and I know he watches over me" thank you Lord for all you have done and made possible; I love you Lord and I give you praise in Jesus name. Amen.

    I AM

This wonderful thought came to me this morning...

    I am.....right now!
    I am blessed right now
    I am healed right now
    I am whole right now
    I am rich right now
    I am strong right now
I am an overcomer right now
I am a conqueror right now
    I am forgiven right now
I am an heir right now
I am a joint heir with Jesus right now
I am a blessing to others right now
    I am equipped right now
I can do all things right now.
You know, I'm not waiting for any of these things to come into my life.....God said it and that settles it!

I am what He said I am
I can do what He says I can do
I can have what He says I can have
God never said "Let there be light" and then sat back and waited to see what would happen! Hallelujah. He expected it to come to pass. As Christians I think we tend to spend a lot of time waiting for things that are already here, "Call those things that be not as though they were."

Father God, I thank You with all of my heart for the many many blessings You have lavished upon me. Truly I am blessed to be a blessing and Lord it's all because of You. Be glorified Lord ...may my life always exalt You. You alone are worthy of all the glory, honour and praise in Jesus name. Amen and Amen

    YOU!!

I don't know who this is for....but I'll leave it with you all... I sensed God saying to me in my spirit.....YOU!

See when we talk about healing...about prosperity...about spiritual gifts and talents....about grace, mercy and forgiveness..about the blessings and benefits of God...about the love of God....most of the times we apply to OTHERS...and fail to see that it was also intended for us..we include everyone else and at the same time we disqualify ourselves. The whole bible from Genesis to Revelations applies to you. If God healed in the bible, then healing is for you....if God delivered in the bible, then deliverance is for you...if God forgave in the bible, then forgiveness is for you....if you can find it in scripture then you can apply it to you. What God has done before he will do again and again and again, he is the same yesterday, today and forever and what he did before he can do...he will do! God has not changed his methods...his plans, promises and purposes have not changed, the same God that called Abraham is calling to us, the same God that healed Naaman will also heal you....the same God that forgave David will also forgive you. Never limit him and never exclude yourself...God has great and mighty, tremendous plans for the body of Christ and that includes YOU!

    Just receive it!

Father God I bless You for this word and I also apply it to me. I thank You that Your plans include me. Your word tells me that my name is graven on Your hand and that You even know the amount of hairs on my head...Lord You know more about me than I know myself and I thank You for the reminder. Thank You for loving me. Thank You for forgiving me. Thank You for all that You have done for me. I bless You and magnify You. You are Lord to me and I praise You, in Jesus name. Amen. Thank You Lord.

    It Is Finished

Whilst Jesus was here on earth he said "I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly." On the cross He said "It is finished." You know, He has completely completed EVERYTHING that He came to accomplish. There is NO unfinished business. You want further proof??? After His resurrection the only real business He attended to was to encourage and restore Peter and commission us as disciples to spread the good news of the kingdom. NOTE - no further explanation of what He meant when He made his mission statement. Then He went back to heaven and sat down. There is no unfinished business. He must already have made complete provision for us to live and enjoy to the full that abundant life that He came to provide for us! I don't believe that it was His intention to dangle a carrot in front of us, like something that is unobtainable. He said its finished, that means He's done it all which means we have it all or we can have it all. We really need to be Spirit-led to discover all that God has for us. Either he is Jehovah Jireh or He's not. And I personaly believe that He has supplied everything that we need for life and godliness. The job you're praying for, the spouse, the stuff....whatever it is... it already exists and is already in your life. We just need to be open to His leading and we will discover what is already there! You might be pleasantly surprised to discover that the very thing you're praying for is already in your life.

Lord open our eyes and our understanding that we might see and lay hold of everything You have supplied. I thank You for those answers to prayers and apologize that we haven't realised that our prayers have been answered. Lead us by Your spirit into total possession of every blessing of God and as we enjoy them Lord, we give you the glory. In the authority and name of Jesus I arrest all demonic and satanic activity....satan has no dominion here! Father God with all of my heart I thank You. I consider it all done. I receive it with gladness and joy and give You all the praise. Everything I've prayed I receive it and thank you for it. With my mouth I confess it. Lord I'm so blessed and I thank You in Jesus name. Amen. Thank You Lord.

"Let the weak SAY I am strong; let the poor SAY I am rich" Hallelujah!!!

    Consider it Done!

I shared with you earlier in the week a revelation called I am...right now; it's somethimg God revealed to me and I have really been confessing it and praying it in since that time and last night I heard the Holy Spirit say "Consider it done!" Hallelujah!!!!

Father God I just give You all the praise and all the glory. You are worthy to be praised. Thank You Jesus for Yur wonderful love - a love that is truly inexpressible. Thank You, Holy Spirit, my Comforter. Thank You Lord. I am right now and no devil can take that away. Halleluiah! In Jesus mighty and precious name I lift all my BHS family praying every blessing into their lives and believing and confessing that "they are...right now." Everything that is needed has already been provided. Teach us Lord just to take our seat and enter into Your rest and enjoy Your wonderful and abundant provision. Truly, daily You load us with benefits in Jesus name. Amen. Thank You Lord.

What a mighty God we serve!

    TERMS OF THE COVENANT

    Jeremiah 11:1-5 (N.I.V)
1 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord:
2 "Listen to the terms of this covenant and tell them to the people of Judah and to those who live in Jerusalem.
3 Tell them that this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: 'Cursed is the man who does not obey the terms of this covenant-
4 the terms I commanded your forefathers when I brought them out of Egypt, out of the iron-smelting furnace.' I said, 'Obey me and do everything I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God.
5 Then I will fulfil the oath I swore to your forefathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey'-the land you possess today."
    I answered, "Amen, Lord.”

Father God, I thank You and praise You for Your continued goodness, mercy and love. Fill us with Your spirit; let us earnestly and eagerly desire to seek You and to please You. Father God help us to remember and accept the terms of the covenant and in every area of our lives to obey You and trust You. Father God help us to understand that a decision has to made on our part if we are ever going to see Your blessing upon our lives. Let us make a decision of quality this very day that we will obey You; faithfully and diligently obey and trust You, as the song-writer declares: “trust and obey for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus than to trust and obey.” Lord You have given us Your Word, Your Word is truth and we will obey you and live for You and glorify You with and in every area of our lives in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Thank You Lord.

    Something is about to happen…

I don’t do this that often but I really felt led to share this; I sense within my spirit that something really is about to happen! We are entering into a “new season” In my personal prayer life of late I have been led to pray and ask God specifically to:

“Raise up a new kind of minister in a new kind of ministry, that the body of Christ would be equipped with the same kind of anointing and power that the early church saints demonstrated and under that anointing that we would change both the climate and the appearance of this world. We are called to be both the salt and the light of this world, salt alters the taste and also preserves, light alters the appearance and eliminates the darkness…Father God in the name of Jesus show the awesomeness of your power and the greatness of your love through your saints in this hour in Jesus name. Amen.

I have heard the Lord speaking to me a lot recently about “practising the presence of God” Many men and women of God have preached the same message and indeed it’s being spoken to the body of Christ; I pray that we would have ears to hear what the Spirit is speaking. I sense that God is inviting us to draw much closer to him, closer than we have ever been before! The veil is removed and we are invited into the very presence of God… with boldness we can enter in.

What Kind of Bride Will Jesus Find Waiting?

“What kind of bride will Jesus find waiting?” The groom waits with eager expectation for his bride, the bride prepares herself for the moment she meets her groom, and the bride doesn’t get to the altar and check to see if she is dressed correctly! All preparations are made beforehand, Paul told the Ephesians’ that Jesus would present a bride without blemish, spot or wrinkle; the raptured church will be a glorious church without any kind of defect whatsoever. That will mean pain and discomfort for some… as anyone who has ever done any kind of laundry will tell you that to remove a spot or stain you need to either soak it or roughly rub the stain out! Apologies if that is a lot to take in at once, I hope you pray over it and discern it for yourself. Father God I thank you and praise you for your goodness to us, thank you Lord for your word to us which will not return to you void I pray that it will accomplish your will and purpose in Jesus name. Amen.

    WALK IT OUT!!!

It’s very easy when everything is going well, to profess your faith - to “talk it out”. But lately I’ve heard the Lord telling me to “walk it out”; not just confessing with our mouths, but in our daily lives - walking as “living epistles”. I’ve mentioned before, how God has ministered to me about those who went through. Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego went into the fiery furnace, Daniel went into the lions’den. Paul and Silas went into the prison. And yet the reality is that, at any time, God could have stepped in and delivered them. Yet each of them went into an intense trial. We sing songs and choruses about following or being led by God, yet when he begins to lead us into places that are “less than inviting” we cry out to God for deliverance and miss the blessings that lay ahead.

Something that God really blessed me with this day is that the revelation - The Breakthrough - is in the midst of the storm, the trial or test. Once Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego got into the furnace, they came out with the revelation that God was able to meet them and deliver them. Before they went in they could not be sure yet they came out with a greater knowledge and revelation that God is able. Daniel came out knowing that God was able to close the lions mouth and keep him. Paul and Silas came out knowing that God was able. What God showed me today is that those great revelations - precious secrets - come “wrapped in fire.” Ordinary people will miss that, intimidated by the fiery protection, scared by the storms. Yet those who are willing to press on through will discover some new truth about God; some new revelation; a new experience with God. And of course there will be every distraction along the way to deter you from pressing into those secrets.

When I was younger I remember watching films like Jason and the Argonauts where he would be on some kind of conquest to find a precious item. And along the way he would battle many foes before he reached his prize. We have an adversary that does not want us to reach what God has for us! He would love us to cry out to God and be delivered and never really know what God wants to reveal to us.

Brothers and Sisters in the Lord, let us press on and into what God has for us; what He wants to reveal to us in these days, we are guilty of not possessing all that God has; guilty of not pursuing God in the way that He would have us to. Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him whilst He is near. There are some “new” things - higher and weightier things - that God wants to reveal to His church in these days. But we are going to have to be willing to really press on into those things…. not just talk it out… Church its time to walk it out. Father God I thank You for this word to us. I praise You Lord for drawing us closer to You. I lift up the church - the body of Christ. I thank You that You will present to Yourself a glorious bride without spot or wrinkle. Prepare us in these days. Help us and strengthen us; not just to serve You with our mouths but with every area of our lives. Lord I lift those who are going through fiery trials at this time; that they would pursue divine revelation and emerge knowing something new about You; emerge in a closer walk with You. Father, these are the days the prophets of old spoke of and prophecy is being fulfilled all around us. Signs in the holy land, signs all over the world, the earth testifies to the un-deniable fact that Jesus is coming soon and every word spoken from Genesis to Revelation will be fulfilled. I thank You Lord that You are not a man that You should lie. Father let us take our eyes off ourselves and see Jesus in all of his glory and motivated by your love reach a needy world in Jesus name. Amen.

    The Appointed Time

Just wanted to share this with you.....I don't know who needs it but I needed to reminded myself.

We go through life and each day throws out it's new challenges, struggles, test and trials, some are harder than others, some are over quicker than others! In all things God is sovereign, in complete control. From our point of veiw we don't really see and understand all that is going on "behind the scenes." I'm reminded of Esther..chapter 6; as the gallows were being built to hang Mordecai on, at the same time the king was reading how Mordecai had been instrumental in saving his life. 2 plans working at the same time!!! Haman planning to have Mordecai killed and God planning Mordecais' promotion and all the time Mordecai is oblivious to both plans. So it is with our life. God has a plan for us and you can also be sure that the devil also has a plan, it's by the grace of God that his plan for us often prevails, we will never know how many attempts of the devil God has thwarted.

At times we get impatient or frustrated, hoping, praying that God would answer sooner rather than later but we can rest assured that he's never early and he's never late..."he's an on time God" and he will step in at the appointed time. We can trust him amd wait for him to act or we can "help God" But when we help God we create "ishmaels'" in our lives rather than waiting for Isaac...the promised of God. It's the Ishmaels that cause us pain, heartbreak and cause us much grief.

Wait on the Lord...trust him, trust his timing, trust his plan and wait on the appointed time. God bless you all.

Father God, You are sovereign and I give You praise. Lord I thank You for Your mercy, Your goodness and Your love. Lord forgive the times I get impatient and wonder when You will act. Strengthen me and help me to wait and trust in Your timing always, in Jesus name. Amen.

    THIS TOO WILL PASS.... Hallelujah!

Yesterday God was ministering this devotion to me; that really blessed me and I feel it's right to share it with you. The devotion was called "the perfecting of our faith" and it talked about how trials and testing times work for us; even though we don't understand and can't always see what God is doing. God has assured us through his word that: 1. He will put no more on us than we can bear... If you can imagine a set of weighing scales, on the one side is the trial know that God has weighed the trial and knows all about it, on the other side of the scale is us and God knows how much we can bear, the scales cannot be tipped in favour of the trial because God has said he'll put no more on us than we can bear, and god is not a man that he should lie. 2. All things are working for our good Even the negative things will produce a positive result... think of going to the dentist to have a tooth out, the dentist gives you an injection which although is painful and uncomfortable it's really nothing when yo consider the pain you would experience without the injection! Ouch!!! So it's worth having to injection, it's worth the lesser pain to avoid the greater pain! 3. Our light and momentary affliction is working for us... It may not seem light to us but God has already weighed it and determined that we can bear it. God is sovereign, in total control he knows the outcome of all things, he knew before, during and the outcome of the test/trial and would not put us in a situation that would have an adverse affect upon us.... we need to trust him with and in every area of our lives. I think of Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego.... at any time God could have stepped in and delivered them yet they went INTO the fiery furnace. God could have stopped the building of the idol. I mean it was 90 foot tall so it wasn't built in a few days.... yet it was allowed to be built, the decree was issued that everyone had to worship it, the 3 Hebrew boys stood before the King and without having all the resurrection promise scriptures that we have; they told the king well if we perish...we perish. God could have come down and prevented them from going in....yet when they went in.. They met him in the fire and he showed his absolute control in that the fire was not allowed to hurt them, it could burn their ropes that were binding them; which if you think of it shows great control. I mean if someone tied your hands up and then tried to burn the ropes off!!! Without burning your skin...phewwww that takes a lot of control. Daniel went INTO the lion's den, Paul and Silas went INTO the fiery furnace and every time they went in God met them there, stayed with them and brought them out! Hallelujah. We need to ask what we can learn as we're going through? How can this situation change me? How can it help someone else? Because not everything we go through is just about us, as in the last example when Paul and Silas went in and came out, the jailer and his family also received Jesus Christ into their life. What you're facing or going through is for a divine reason and not just for the sake of it, I'm praying for you and with you and one of my prayers is that God would reveal something that needs to be changed, developed or strengthened and that you would ask him all the right questions.... just look to God and ask him "what can I learn from this?" This too will surely pass...God bless you richly as you journey through in Jesus name. Amen Love in Christ

    He is Wooing You

I read this wonderful verse of scripture this morning and it just seemed to jump off the page into my spirit....the thing is though i've read the book of Job many, many times I cannot remember even meditating or taking this scripture in! Glory to God I truly believe that this is indeed a word in due season, and I'm sharing this for whoever else it applies too: Job 36:16(N.I.V) He is wooing you from the jaws of distress to a spacious place free from restriction, to the comfort of your table laden with choice food. Almighty Father, I receive this word and apply it too my life, I thank you that you are Lord and worthy of all praise, thank you for the plans you have for my life and lives of those around me. Thank you Lord that you have heard my prayers and answered them all, this word that you have opened my eyes to see and my heart to recieve talks about being free from restrictions which is a prayer request of mine regarding my finances and Lord I thank you for that. My wonderful and Loving Father I thank you that you are concerned with every area of my life. Lord I lift those who today who are restricted, remembering also those who hunger, those who are sick, those limited by poverty, those abused, those abandoned, those oppressed and afflicted; Father I lift them to you appealing for your mercy and intervention praying that you would provide all that is needed and touch our hearts, fill our hearts with your compassion that we would be moved to minister to the needy in Jesus name and for his glory. Amen and Amen. Thank you Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

    Love-starved Streets

Father God I read this in a christian magazine earlier this week, the writer used these 3 words to describe the condition of the world today.....and these 3 words jumped into my spirit and have just stayed with me......"love-starved streets" Father you loved this world...every street, every avenue, every close, every cul-de-sac...Lord you love this world so much that you gave your only son...Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Father to think that someone out there doesn't know of your great love and mercy is just heart-breaking.....and so i cry out to you.....make me a minister of your love, use me Lord as a vessel filled with your love and goodness...willing to be broken into the lives of those desperate for your love. When I think of starvation I 'm reminded of images of the children in the third world countries...in desperate need! to think that around this world today often closer to us than we even imagine who are in desperate need of your love....If they needed fine preaching and expounding of the word then Lord surely we would have reached them all, often it's easier to preach it than to live it...but Lord let us become ministers of your love and reach this entire world for your glory; Holy ghost fill us again and let us be poured out into the lives of the needy in Jesus name. Amen. Thank you Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

    Spirit of Discernment...

I was listening to T.D.Jakes this morning and he brought out the most interesting point that has really blessed and led me to pray this prayer. He talked about how in the garden of Gethsemane; Jesus embraced Judas and moments later had to rebuke Peter......he embraced a man who was betraying him and rebuked a man who had drawn his sword to defend Jesus.....and at first I thought well how odd; fact is though albeit unwillingly Judas was working towards the fulfilment of prophecy Gods redemptive plan for all mankind would soon be established and Peter would have got in the way of that! So my prayer is simply this..... Dear Father grant us all such a spirit of discernment that we would always recognise your will and plan, that we would who to embrace and who to rebuke and look at it from your perspective and not from ours. Father accomplish and establish your good will and plan for our lives and may we always be in the will of God. Lord I thank you that all things are working for our good...even things we don't understand...hallelujah. Thank you for your love, your grace, your mercy; thank you that our names are written in the lambs book of life. Thank you Jesus that you have redeemed us, forgiven us, equipped us and anointed us and made us joint heirs with you. Thank you for sending us another comforter in the person of the holy spirit; may we never hurt, offend and cause your spirit to withdraw from us. Father God I pray that we would be ministers of your love and mercy and reach a world in dire need in Jesus name and for his glory. Amen.

    Those Hands....

I was meditating about this yesterday and as I began to post a reply to a prayer request I prayed about God having his hand upon us.........and it took me right back to that meditation; the thoughts the Lord laid on my heart. Those hands... One hand is the hand of Jesus, and in his hand bears the mark of the nail where they nailed him to the cross for our sin....in him there was no sin at all; yet he took our place our sin, someone shared a thought recently that really touched me; it said "he not only died for....he died AS ME!" The other hand is the hand of God, who filled with love, mercy and compassion for us gave us his son, God with-held nothing; he gave his best when we were dead in trespass and sin...the song says he looked beyond my faults and saw my needs. So when I think about and pray about Lord have your hand upon us; they are the hands I see, the hands of the Father and of the Son and because he was unwilling to leave us without a comforter in this earth; the hand of the Holy Spirit...bringing healing, bringing peace, bringing hope, bringing restoration, bringing joy...it brings a tear to my eye to think of those hands upon every area of my life...what a joy to my soul, what an awesome privilege. What a wonderful Father, what a glorious Saviour and what a sweet, sweet Spirit...Thank you Lord. Father God in closing I'm reminded of the very words of your own son Jesus, and I pray them over my life, my children and family and all the wonderful saints on this site regarding the days, weeks, months and years that lie ahead (if Jesus tarries) "into your hands I commend my spirit" in Jesus name. Amen.

    What if He Said "No"?

During the week in prayer I began to say to God, that whatever happened in the course of my life I would trust, I said "you know what even if I died due to illness I would still believe that you are a God of healing, if I died broke I would believe you were a God of prosperity" and as I was praying that this thought came to me...how we die is never a reflection of God, because we know that he will raise us up when Jesus returns, and we will be raised..healed, free to live eternity in God's presence. So I pose this question.....if you prayed and god said no...how would you react? would you still pray? would you still praise? would you still trust him? would you still believe him? how would it affect your faith? Elisha had a great healing ministry and yet he died of an illness....hezekiah was sick and was supposed to die yet he prayed to God and God added 15 years to his life.....Paul prayed 3 times for the thorn to be removed from his flesh and 3 times God said "my grace is sufficient"....yet Elisha continued to be used by God till the day he died, Paul continued to be used by God until he died. If God said no...what would you do? Dear Father I thank you for this, thank you that you know what is best for us and have our best interests at heart. Father I pray that our trust in you will never waver, I pray for oppurtunities for faith to be exercised for without faith it is impossible to please you. Let faith be exercised like a muscle, that we will become men and women of strong faith, always trusting, obeying and believing you in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Thank you Father, son and Holy Ghost.

    Many things about tomorrow...

    Many things about tomorrow,
    I don't claim to understand.
    But I know who holds tomorrow;
and I know HE holds my hand.

Dearest Father as the new week begins, not knowing what lies ahead.....my confidence comes from one fact alone and that is tomorrow is in your hand. Nothing in the coming week will come without your foreknowledge, nothing will catch you off-guard, nothing will take you by surprise...though it may surprise me....yet if I still myself...my life and if i'm quiet enough to hear your holy spirit speaking to me..."this is the way...walk in it" then I know that I will be victorious over this coming week....triumphant over all the plans, schemes and devices of the enemy...overcoming all that he is trying to do. Knowing that you are with me, leading me, guiding me....guiding in a path which you have already looked ahead to see what lies ahead, you know when I need to go left or right, when I need to walk and when I need to run, you have planned my route, taking into consideration my need for rest and everything required for the journey you have provided..it's laid ahead for me....It's such a blessing to stand on the brink of this new week and know that everything I will ever need is already provided. Lord I love you and I give you all the praise....for all those you have purposed to come into my life this coming week, may I boldly and truthfully show them the Love of Almighty God, the Love of Jesus, the power of the Holy Ghost. May I hear a word from you relevant to where I am and what you want me to hear, understand and apply, may your word find good ground in my life and may your word not return to you void but accomplish your will. Thank you heavenly Father for your great love you have lavished upon us..upon me, thank you Jesus that you laid down your life that we might live, thank you for sending us another comforter in the person of the Holy Spirit, spirit of the living God fall afresh I pray in Jesus name. Amen. Thank you Lord. Saints I pray that you will have the most blessed week of your life so far, God richly bless each of you in Jesus name. Amen.

    Isaiah 48:20-22 (N.I.V)

20 Leave Babylon, flee from the Babylonians! Announce this with shouts of joy and proclaim it. Send it out to the ends of the earth; say, "The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob." 21 They did not thirst when he led them through the deserts; he made water flow for them from the rock; he split the rock and water gushed out. 22 "There is no peace," says the LORD, "for the wicked."

This text of scripture has just jumped into my spirit and I'm led to share with whoever else it speaks too.....Leave Babylon....that always speaks of this wicked world system to me as if God is saying forget the worlds way of doing things...you get kingdom results by kingdom methods...God has his own way of getting things done!

Dear Father, I thank You and praise You that You have ordained, pre-destined our lives. You have a good plan for our lives which will come to pass according to Your word, Your will and Your timing. My prayer this day is that You would order our steps. Let us faithfully and confidently trust, hope and beleive You with and in every single area of our lives; not looking to worldly methods as though our lives depended upon them but knowing that our lives are in Your hand as Your word declares "our names are graven in Your hands." Halleleujah! Thank You Jesus for Your wondrous love towards us. Thank You that this day we remember and rejoice that You are risen and seated at the right side of the Father and we are seated in heavenly places with You. Glory and honour be unto You risen, glorious Son of the living God. Father God thank You for this day. May we shine as lights on this earth and glorify You, in Jesus name. Amen. Thank You Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

    Psalm 40:1-2

    I waited patiently for the Lord;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire,
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.

I have to smile when I remember this Psalm because I confess that there are times when I don't wait as patiently as I could. In frustration at times I "remind God" as if He needed to be reminded of His promises to me. God is not forgetful....I am and sometimes I forget that He never forgets. It can be so hard when the word says one thing and yet your life says something totally contrary! The word of God says healed and yet all of your joints ache with pain. The word of God say blessed and prosperous and yet your bank statement tells another story. Psalm 40:5 also says "the things you planned for us no one can recount to you." God has a good plan for us despite our situation or circumstances. And they do not nullify the promises of God. Praise his name.....I want to encourage you as I also encourage myself....God has a good plan for us which He will accomplish in his own timing. It reminds me of a woman, 8 months pregnant. Now, I'm a man and have (thank the Lord!) never experienced this in my own body. But I understand that by that late stage of pregnancy she is ready and desperate to birth that child. She feels uncomfortable, tired, emotional and yet despite her feelings that child will not be birthed any earlier. It will arrive when it is good and ready. God said He has some things planned for us but He didn't tell us WHEN those things would be birthed. Faithfully, joyfully and patiently we have to wait knowing that "faithful is He who promised"....He will do what He said He would do. God bless you.

Dear Father, I thank You and praise You that You have a good plan for our lives. I apologize Lord that sometimes get impatient and just wish that You would bless me right now. Sometimes I get a little down and sulky, sometimes like a child throwing a tantrum. Forgive me Lord I pray. I make a decision of quality that I will trust You. I will wait on You and I will always believe and recieve the plan that You have for my life, in Jesus name. Amen. Thank you Lord.

    Gentle Whisper

1 Kings 19:11-12 Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. (N.I.V)

Dear Father, it's encouraging to note that in all the hustle and bustle, the noise, the comotion, the business of our lives and schedules; that in the stillness and quietness, You appear. Thank You Lord that You are always with us, an ever-present God, Lord I pray that our lives would be still and quiet enough for us to always be able to hear and recognize the gentle whisper of Your voice. Father in this week that lies ahead of us, bring moments of quietness into our lives and let us, like Samuel, say...."speak for your servant is listening" Don't let us by misled by the great spectacle of "life's show."....The wind, the earthquake and the fire got Elijahs attention but it was Your gentle whisper that got him out of the cave; speak to our hearts Lord....we are listening for Your voice, in Jesus name. Amen. Thank you Lord.
